　　Your Career

　　As a Java Backend Principal Engineer specializing in Cloud-based SaaS applications, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable and secure backend systems. You will be a key contributor to our cloud-centric architecture, leveraging Java and cutting-edge cloud technologies to deliver high-performance, reliable, and innovative SaaS solutions. As a technical leader, you will guide the engineering team, ensuring the delivery of robust and feature-rich cloud applications.

　　Architect and design scalable, multi-tenant SaaS applications on cloud platforms.

　　Evaluate and adopt cloud-native services, tools, and best practices.

　　Implement solutions for high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability.

　　Provide strong technical leadership and mentorship for the backend development team.

　　Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and guidelines.

　　Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals.

　　Design and implement microservices architecture using Java and containerization technologies (e.g. Docker).

　　Identify and address performance bottlenecks in cloud-based SaaS systems.

　　Optimize database queries, system throughput, and resource utilization.

　　Design for horizontal scalability and manage auto-scaling configurations.

　　Work closely with product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and design effective cloud solutions.

　　Collaborate with DevOps, QA, performance and security teams to ensure a holistic approach to SaaS application development.

　　Document architecture, design decisions, and cloud infrastructure configurations.

　　Contribute to project planning and estimation for SaaS application development.

　　Break down high-level project goals into actionable tasks.

　　Conduct research and development activities to explore new cloud services, tools, and methodologies.

　　Introduce innovative solutions to improve cloud infrastructure and SaaS application efficiency.

　　Your Impact

　　Responsible for the complete software development life cycle including requirement analysis, design, development, deployment and operationalization.

　　Write clean, testable, readable, scalable and maintainable Java code that scales and performs well for thousands of customers

　　Participate actively and contribute to design and development discussions

　　Develop solid understanding and be able to explain advanced Cloud Computing and Cloud Security concepts to others

　　Your Experience

　　Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.8+ years of hands-on experience building distributed, resilient, performant, and scalable web applications in Java & related technologies with a focus on cloud-based SaaS applications.

　　Proven experience in a technical leadership role for SaaS applications.

　　Hands-on & strong experience in designing, building & deploying scalable and resilient Cloud & Microservices architectures & REST APIs.

　　Hands-on experience in one or more SQL and NoSQL databases - PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, RedShift, etc.

　　Experience with one or more messaging middleware - Kafka, Amazon SQS, SNS, AWS Kinesis Data Streams, Rabbit MQ, ActiveMQ, etc.

　　Hands-on experience in Spring, Spring Boot, and related ecosystem

　　Experience with one or more cloud infrastructures & services - AWS, Google Cloud, Azure & OCI

　　Experience in iterative & agile development, working in a full CI/CD environment is a plus

　　Experience in building multithreaded concurrent systems

　　In-depth knowledge of distributed computing concepts - CAP theorem, leader election, brain split problem etc

　　Strong computer science fundamentals - multithreading, lock-free data structures, bloom filters, minimal perfect hashing, consistent hashing etc.

　　Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

　　Effective communication and collaboration skills.
