About Principal Software Developer - C Developer - Oracle Database

  Job Description

We are the central team within the Oracle database development organization, entrusted with managing semi-structured data such as JSON, XML, Full-text search, and large objects. We write the code that enables users to store, query, index, generate, update, and join these various data models.

Specifically focusing on JSON, we develop and implement document-APIs that empower application developers to utilize JSON as the foundational data model for their applications. Additionally, we oversee the Oracle Autonomous JSON Database, a managed cloud service compatible with MongoDB, integrated into the Autonomous Database Cloud Service.

We seek individuals with a keen interest and expertise in system-level programming, encompassing a deep understanding of data storage, query optimization, and index processing. Proficiency in JSON, relational databases, document databases, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure is essential. Furthermore, experience in C/C++, OCI (Oracle Call Interface), Java, Node.js, Python, REST APIs, and MongoDB would be highly advantageous.
