Principal Security Engineer

　　A tax & legal software services company is looking for a Security professional to bridge the gap between engineering & architecture. In this role you will be doing a mix of advising on security topics with other engineers & architects for IT projects, as well as getting hands-on & engineering yourself. There is a focus on cloud, network, and infrastructure projects, with potential examples including automation efforts, migrations, organizational transformations, M&A, new tech rollouts, zero-trust initiatives.

　　Applicants will need knowledge both broad & deep in multiple areas of network, systems, and cloud infrastructure, as well as prior experience security said infrastructure: firewalls, cloud controls, SIEM/detections, email security, access management. Familiarity with zero-trust environments is a big plus.

　　This is a fully-remote position with the United StatesRequired Skills & Experience

　　8+ Years of experience in IT

　　3+ Years of experience in Information Security Engineering

　　Knowledge Cloud, Network, and Systems infrastructure

　　Familiarity with at least one Security framework (ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, etc)

　　Desired Skills & Experience

　　Experience with Application & CI/CD Security

　　Experience using Zero-trust tools (Zscaler, etc)

　　Relevant certifications (CISSP, CRISC, etc
