Job Overview:
Support the site Quality Manager in the implementation and maintenance of the Site Quality Management System and in the implementation of project Quality Initiatives.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Asist Site Quality Manager in all QC activities on job site.
Support/ develop / review / and or update Site Management System and other related documents.
Uses analytical and logical approach to troubleshoot deficiencies and resolve issues through effective use of basic problem-solving techniques, Lean tools and principles, coaching and communication with process owners, and corrective actions.
Defines best practices and facilitates a culture of process discipline and standardization
Collaborates w/applicable functional leadership to monitor and measure/validate (new/adjusted) process outputs as needed.
Assists in maintaining NMS by facilitating reviews and revising policies/procedures.
Manages reporting and performance metrics for Quality department.
Compliance Assurance through planning, monitoring, inspecting, evaluating, observing, surveilling, auditing, etc. as qualified, for both internal and external activities.
Compile/create complex detailed reports, spreadsheets, presentations, etc., using computer programs as per Management System requirements.
Support in the reporting of incidents, NCRs or other Non-Compliant activities.
Ensure specified databases are kept up to date.
Responsible for various activities for continuous improvement initiatives.
Support/ensure compliance to Corporate and/or Project Training requirements as necessary.
Perform other functional tasks as directed by pier Management.
Support the implementation of “How it’s Done” through all organization.
Support the process of management of change
Support the process of obtaining customer's feedback through Customer Satisfaction Survey and work in eventual plans to obtain higher level of satisfaction
Essential Qualifications and Education:
4 year Degree/Diploma or equivalent in Quality Field, can be substituted for years of experience
5 years within the Energy Industry through all phases of EPCI project delivery
Be experienced with QC activities on job site.
Be conversant with local and international Quality codes, regulations and best practices.
Has developed proficiency in a range of analytical processes or procedures through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience to carry out assigned tasks.
Works within defined processes and procedures or methodologies and may help determine the appropriate approach for new assignments.
Provides solutions to problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring based on existing precedents or procedures.
Completes work with a limited degree of supervision.
Impacts the quality of the work of the team.
Uses communication skills to regularly exchange information.
Likely to act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience.
Completes a variety of typical assignments, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications and Education:
Internal Auditor for ISO 9001
Functional, business and industry expertise.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office and other related software.
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
Sufficient interpersonal skills and ability to interface comfortably with all levels of internal management and staff as well as clients
