This position is responsible for managing all aspects of designing and implementing SitusAMC’s AWS technology infrastructure strategy. This role is accountable for developing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure. The position will also lead the evaluation and implementation of best practices using next generation technology and establishing architecture excellence.

Essential Job Functions:

Leads through example, mentors and influences others; taking a consultative approach

Hands on problem solver able to jump in and code when necessary, using modern programming languages Collaborate with SRE, Developers and Devops teams to automate the build and deployment of AWS technology infrastructure

Responsible for proof of concept and architectural design to support the Technology Roadmap as it relates to cloud computing focusing on performance and cost optimization

Provides insights into new technology trends, patterns, architecture and standards to ensure SAMC platforms are strategically architected and built to serve clients now and in the future

Provides technical leadership to technology operations and infrastructure teams on best practices for the design, development, testing and implementation of cloud solutions

Challenge assumptions and analyzes information to diagnose the root of an issue, design optimal solutions, and assess short- and long-term impact of recommendations.

Provides technical solutions for escalated cases Collaborates frequently with business leaders, and technology leadership to optimize technical solutions for internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications/ Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is strongly preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum of 15+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 2+ years at the SVP level or external equivalent.

Experience with the most current technologies and products used in the industry is

Should have good expertise with AWS services: ECS, EKS,IAM, RDS,Labmdas,S3

Experience in DevOps Platform Engineering, IaC and setting up CICD Pipelines

Proactive problem solving, analytical skills, attention to detail, and follow-up skills

Strong development and execution skills

Strong written and verbal communication; able to communicate effectively across the business

Strategic thinking and planning

Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities from POC through implementation, owning outcomes

Can effectively mentor others on standard processes and best practices

Excellent interpersonal skills

The annual full time base salary range for this role is ($160,000 - $190,000). Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
