  About the Team:

  As a member of the Finance, Risk, and Compliance (“FRC”) group at Capco you will play a role delivering projects, ranging from short-term strategic assessments to large scale change initiatives, for leading clients across financial services—including investment banking, retail banking, wealth/asset management, and insurance. Capco FRC is a global team that prides itself on our industry-leading expertise from strategy through execution within the risk advisory space. We are open to individuals with risk, controls, and finance experience in financial services gained through prior experience and engagements.

  About the Job:

  As a Principal Consultant – Liquidity Risk Management, you will work alongside industry experts as part of FRC in a fast-paced team setting. Your insights and deliverables will influence actions taken by managers and executives, both in real-time problem-solving situations and as the outcome of engagements.

  What You’ll Get to Do:

  Work with banks, asset managers, and insurance companies to deliver against key risk management and related regulatory objectives

  Manage mid-sized projects and teams of consultants, taking oversight of delivery work and ensuring client satisfaction

  Produce insights, analyses, and recommendations to provide strategic guidance, improve client performance, and drive deeper understanding of client issues

  Build new solutions, toolkits, best practice documents, and consulting approaches that can be applied across Capco’s Finance, Risk, and Compliance practice

  Cultivate and manage a pipeline of work with clients; identify incremental sales opportunities while managing project delivery

  Develop thought leadership content, take a leadership role in proposal responses, and participate in client pitches

  Engage with practice leadership in regular client and solution planning discussions

  Provide insightful career advice and feedback for team members to empower their careers

  What You’ll Bring with You:

  7+ years of risk management experience within financial services, preferably in liquidity risk management or corporate treasury

  2+ years of experience working for a management consulting firm required

  Extensive knowledge of regulatory topics pertaining to liquidity risk, including LCR, NSFR, and liquidity stress testing

  Experience with liquidity risk governance policies, limits, procedures, standards, controls, and Contingent Funding Plans

  Experience hitting individual sales targets/sales goals required

  Strong technical skills, including fluency with Excel and working with databases/SQL; additional coding experience a plus

  Strong skills in communication, critical thinking, problem solving, and collaboration

  Robust knowledge of financial markets and various banking and capital markets products

  Able to operate independently and use sound judgement when in interacting with senior risk clients

  Ability to drive completion of project deliverables that exceed client expectations

  Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field

  New York Pay Range

  $141,000—$185,000 USD
