Mechanical has provided a full range of refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, drain cleaning, and environmental services to commercial, industrial and residential customers.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Preventative Maintenance Sales position drives the sales of preventative maintenance contracts to both new and existing customers to increase the service department's recurring revenue and nurturing long-term customer relationships while marketing our company's brand in a way that is positive, honest, and professional.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze existing business to identify customers who would benefit from preventative maintenance services and sales
Proactively source and follow up with new leads and referrals
Demonstrate a clear understanding of the company's service and equipment offerings to instill confidence, loyalty, and trust in the customers
Communicate professionally to educate customers on the advantages of preventative maintenance services, sales, and contracts
Estimate, negotiate and present preventative maintenance contracts with customers, ensuring understanding of terms, pricing, and the value of the services offered using company estimating templates
Maintain regular communication with the customers to foster and retain preventative maintenance relationships
Stay updated on industry trends and seek opportunities for growth and improvement
Provide reports to management regarding sales activities, customer interactions, updates on new and existing contracts, etc.
Collaborate with service department personnel to ensure timely and accurate execution, scheduling, conflict resolutions, and reporting/administration of preventative maintenance service contracts
Maintain an organized workspace and properly file documents, updates, and product information
Work with management to meet sales & company goals and deliverables
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience: Availability as needed for afterhours email and phone calls. High School diploma or GED and two (2) years' experience in mechanical sales or related field
Preferred Qualifications: 4+ years sales experience, Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, Verbal & written communication skills, HVACR/Plumbing/Mechanical Sales Expertise, a ttention to detail and organization, Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook, Ability to work as a team player
