  Compensation

  Overtime pay at time and a half (optional, when available). The ability to grow into a salary role with bonus options averaging $42K - $57K/ annually. Holiday and PTO on top of that.

  401K with matching available after 60 days

  Health insurance after 60 days (High quality BCBS insurance!)

  Supplemental insurance, with some options paid directly by SOR after 60 days (For example, a dental policy for an individual is fully covered at no cost to the employee)

  HINT: If considering another job, ask that potential employer and SOR these questions:

  How many paid holidays do I get? (SOR = 8 to 11 per year depending on shift/ day of the week where the holidays fall that year)

  How much paid time off (PTO) do I get on top of holidays? (SOR = 2 weeks, plus 2 more days if you volunteer in the community)

  Do you have a 401K? (SOR = Yes! And we match up to 4% and you're immediately vested)

  Do you provide paid training and future opportunities? Will you invest in me? (SOR = YES, yes, yes! It's #1 of our 4 core values! Come ask folks who have stayed here 3, 5, 7, or even 10 years why they can't be lured away.)

  A valid NC Driver's License/ reliable legal transportation to our Charlotte warehouse by 7:30 AM weekdays

  Related construction experience is a plus. Please notify us if you have experience in minor deck repairs, board replacements, and/or deck staining

  A positive attitude and willingness to work with a team. Great communication with co-workers and supervisors.

  Professionalism: You understand that your mind needs to be sharp to do your best work and keep those around you safe and you understand we are a drug-free workplace

  Essential duties:

  Showing up is crucial for our team - we rely on one another. Therefore, we require all team members MUST HAVE ADEQUATE TRANSPORTATION TO THE SOR WAREHOUSE, M-F BY 7:30AM SHARP. Most employees finish the days' jobs by 2 to 4 PM each day.

  Driver's license highly preferred for this posting (some of the leadership roles require driving, so drivers have more paths available)

  Ability to be cleared to be added to our insurance (i.e. at least 3 years' experience as a licensed driver, a good driving record).

  Must be able to lift and pull 75 lb. loads (two 5-gallon buckets of stain, pull 100' of hose, etc.). Must be able to lift pressure washing wands and hold above head for at least 6 hours per shift.

  Must be able to read, understand, and follow safety instructions at all times, including OSHA and MSDS information.

  Must be able to walk, stand, squat, climb, and execute safety protocols.

  Trustworthiness - the ability to perform work without micromanagement or hand-holding

  Coachability - able to absorb training from the experts we provide (You are working directly with experts- not just for orientation and initial training!)

  $14 - $16/ hour for those with little to no experience - we will train you! There's room to grow - and quickly. New technicians moving to Lead Technician via training and promotion become salaried employees with guaranteed base plus bonus pay.

  ($17-$19/hour+ for those with advanced experience the company needs. Salary options for Lead Technician level. 90% of our Lead Technicians are internal hires!)
