With 22,000 clients, including93% of the Fortune 100, and 32,000 employees across 28 countries, RRDbrings the expertise, execution, and scale designed to transform customertouchpoints into meaningful moments of impact.Job DescriptionThe position is responsible to set up, adjust, operate, and maintain anumber of press equipmentPerform all make-ready tasks associated with the type of press operated suchas hanging plates or installing cylinders, examine plates/cylinders forimperfections and checks for correct positioning of images, preppingblankets, adjusting tension and register etc.Make necessary color corrections and/or press adjustments prior toproduction run to meet and maintain the quality specifications of the workClean, lubricate, and maintain the press, making minor repairs andreplacing worn or broken parts as requiredPerforms periodic maintenance recommended by the manufacturerQualificationsRequires thorough knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials andspecifiactions, equipment, and safety requirements and skills to performassignmentsSkill to read and understand job specifications and knowledge of presscapabilities to determine the most appropriate press usage, press settingsand materials needed to run the job successfullySkill to make a variety of difficult precise settings of controls,settings, and adjustments, and to perform routine operational maintenanceof equipmentSkill inroutine operational maintenance and minor repairs to equipmentKnowledge of the appropriate amount of packing pressure needed to obtain theproper printing pressure for the type of job being runSkill in use of micrometer to mount and align the printing plate correctlyAdditional InformationThepay range for this role is $19.00 - $24.00 / hour.
