About Preschool Teacher/ Assistant Teacher

　　Relate positively with young children.Prepare and maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children in the classroom.Light lesson planning with support and supervision from the Director.Provide developmentally appropriate activities for children ages 6 months-5 years.

　　Must meet basic requirements of child care regulatory agency to maintain safe environment for children.Previous teaching or assistant teaching position with a public or private school system, a quality preschool, child care center or church nursery is preferred but not required.Knowledge about the social, emotional and developmental needs of young children based on education, past work experience, or as a parent or caretaker of a child.Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs in order to facilitate activities with children and ensure child safety in emergency situations.
