Job Title: General Laborer $18/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer to join our team for the 1st shift (7:30am - 4:00pm). The position pays $18/hr. The successful candidate will assist in various aspects of the shipyard, working on tug boats, ferries, and other water transport equipment. Responsibilities include performing basic cable and wire pulling, prepping and painting work, monitoring welders to ensure safety, handling and lifting materials, drilling and installing screws in boats, and performing general utility work around the shipyard. You will also assist other employees with various labor tasks.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Cleveland, Ohio.

Work Environment

A candidate who enjoys the outdoors would be a perfect fit. Since you will be working on boats, ships, and other water transport equipment, you will be outside all the time. Although there are some hangars for larger boats, you will still be exposed to the elements, making it hot in the summer and cold in the winter. If you enjoy working in various weather conditions, this role is ideal for you.
