Job description
Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex software design issues and improve software customer experience matters. Frequently contributes to the development ofnew ideasand methods to HP owned software. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or providesexpertiseto functional project teams and mayparticipatein cross-functional initiatives. Acts as software development expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements andestablishingpolicies. Frequentlyrepresentsthe organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices todeterminebestmethod foraccomplishingwork and achieving objectives.
*Responsibilities: *
• Design, develop andimplementssoftware for PCandapplications.
• Update,maintainexisting programs to addnew features or performance improvements.
• Review requirements,specifications,and design to assure product quality.
• Define and develop implementation plans and tests to ensure product quality and performance assurance.
• Leads multiple project teams of other software engineers and internal and outsourced development partners responsible for all stages of design and development for complex products and platforms, including solution design, analysis, coding, testing, and integration.
• Manages and expands relationships with internal and outsourced development partners on software systems design and development.
• Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with systems design and development guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk.
• Provides domain-specificexpertiseand overall software systems leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities.
• Drives innovation and integration ofnew technologiesinto projects and activities in the software systems design organization.
*We're looking for talents with *
• Bachelor's orMaster's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Typically5+ years experiences and familiar with C/ C++/ Java/ JavaScript/Python/VB Script
• Familiar with PC Windows environment,Windows architecture, UWP Apps, Win32 applications.
• Extensive experience with multiple software systems design tools and languages.
• Excellent analytical andproblem-solvingskills.
• Experience in overall architecture of software systems for products and solutions.
Experience in platform development and priority setting, abilities for driving root cause and solutions.
• Designing and integrating software systems running on multiple platform types into overall architecture.
• Evaluatingforms and processes for software systems testing andmethodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels.
