Overview

As our Pre Authorization LPN at St. Vincent, you will help patients and healthcare providers by facilitating the pre-authorization process for radiology services so they can receive timely and accurate care. This is for our Radiology West Clinic.

Every day, you will collaborate with payers and healthcare teams. You will be expected to communicate payer requirements, track authorization requests, and ensure compliance with payer guidelines.

To be successful in this role, you must possess strong communication skills, knowledge of insurance billing procedures, and experience with pre-certification processes.

Responsibilities

Manage communication with third-party payers to secure pre-authorizations for radiology services.

Collaborate with clinic and hospital departments to ensure timely transmission of clinical information.

Assist with payer notifications, maintain databases, and identify process improvement opportunities for denied authorizations.

Qualifications

Associate Degree in a healthcare-related field

3+ years of experience in pre-certification, referrals, and insurance billing processes

Active LPN license in good standing with the Arkansas State Board of Nursing

ACLS certification required

Pay Range

$18.74 - $25.77 /hour
