Responsibilities: Design and develop data models, reports, and dashboards using Power BI desktop and service Work with our data engineering team to align on the delivery of underlying data through our Azure Databricks based, Lakehouse architecture Follow established data security, refresh, and governance policies using Power BI service Troubleshoot and optimize the performance and quality of the Power BI solutions Collaborate with the business analysts and stakeholders to understand the requirements and expectations Provide technical guidance and conduct code reviews Provide thought guidance around opportunities for improvement of the PowerBI service and dashboard development process Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in Power BI and data analytics Support other offshore PowerBI resources, as needed Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field from an accredited college or university At least 4 years of experience in working with Power BI, the Microsoft BI stack, and SQL Server Management Studio Proficiency in data modeling, DAX, data transformation, and visualization techniques Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; possesses strong organization and prioritization skills Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable working in a high volume, fast-paced, rapidly changing, results-oriented work environment Experience with project management and scrum tools, especially those in the Microsoft Azure stack (Azure DevOps) Experience working with offshore contractor resources and/or experience in leading a team of Power BI developers Knowledge of scripting and programming languages such as Python Experience presenting data for C-level stakeholders Experience working with Databricks Dexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
