Post-Production Specialist & Artist/Animator
The Post-Production Specialist & Artist/Animator will report to the Director of Teaching & Learning and is responsible for both the creation of video content and post-production of raw footage and course content. Primary creation duties include producing high-level introductory content videos, course curriculum videos, animated explainer videos, and on-location field shoot videos. Post-production specialist duties include verifying the accuracy of audio in comparison to the scripts and editing video to include callouts and other effects. All editing, production, and creation of assets must be developed with Adobe products, thus expertise in Adobe is required. Furthermore, this position will work directly with faculty to help brainstorm, storyboard, and produce videos for key lecture concepts. The Post-Production Specialist ensures all work is completed within prescribed deadlines and meets production standards for quality and consistency.

Position responsibilities:
Use current video software to edit and/or capture video content
Work with a content management system to post and update course content
Provide updates on completions and progress, as well as review and confer with the Teaching and Learning Center staff for task assignment, feedback, and direction
Implement revisions as needed for polished final videos
Participate in meetings with fellow team members, faculty, and staff
Manage own time in relation to project deadlines
The general expected day-to-day schedule for this position is M-F/8-5pm (you will be part of an on-campus team). Rarely, some weekend work and travel for on-location shoots may be required for events, etc.
Expected Salary:
$25/hr: 40 hours per week
Minimum Requirements:
Proficiency with all Adobe editing products.
Sound judgment and the ability to make good editing decisions tailored to different audiences (i.e., student vs professional)
Ability to work independently and with a team
Proficiency with all current media software, specifically animation software
Expertise in graphic design
Flexibility and adaptability to manage projects based around shifting deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years in related field or directly fulfilled responsibilities
Experience with audio/video recording software
Experience with video post-production products and processes
