　　JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

　　Dr. Xingjie Ni is seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar to conduct research in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (https://www.eecs.psu.edu/) at The Pennsylvania State University, University Park campus. The successful candidate will be involved in nanophotonic device design, fabrication, and characterization. Additional responsibilities will include supervising graduate student research and disseminating research results in refereed journals, seminars, and conferences.

　　A Ph.D. in electrical engineering, materials science, physics, or a closely related area is required by the start date. The Postdoctoral Scholar must have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Candidates with a background in nanophotonics, metamaterials, biosensing/optogenetics, and/or optical measurements are highly encouraged to apply.

　　This is a term appointment, funded for one year from date of hire, with a possibility of renewal.
