　　IBM Research is welcoming applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher position specialized in computational chemistry or computational physics.

　　We are seeking outstanding candidates who obtained their Doctoral degree within the last five (5) years.

　　The position is located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

　　You will be hired as a full-time IBM Employee.

　　Duration of the contract: 24-36 months.

　　Required Technical and Professional Expertise

　　Doctoral Degree completed in the last 5 years in Computer Science or Materials Science or other related fields with considerable computational modelling focus.

　　Expertise in Physics, Chemistry, or Materials Science; familiarity with Metal-Organic Frameworks for CO2 Direct Air Capture and/or CO2 Hydrogenation and related areas.

　　Demonstrated skills and expertise in performing molecular simulations based on, for example, Classical Molecular Dynamics (MD), Density Functional Theory (DFT), or Grand Canonical Monte Carlo (GMC).

　　Be familiar with state of art programming (Python, C++, Java etc.) and computer engineering practices as well as data science and machine learning methods, including their implementation. Experience with deep learning, transformer models, and computational mathematics will be advantageous.
