rrPosition Summary:
rThe Department of Earth and Spatial Sciences at the University of Idahois seeking a postdoctoral fellow to participate in the National ScienceFoundation EPSCoR funded I-CREWS project. The position willpredominately work with the I-CREWS characterize team to collate,assess, and generate spatial datasets in support of the ICEWS project.These datasets will include biophysical and social science datasetsrelated to energy and water resilience to stressors at regional andlocal scales. This individual will also work with the I-CREWSalternative futures team to generate data for use in low-fidelityvirtual reality environments. The individual will collaboratively workwith the modeling, alternative futures team, and Energy Water Data Hub,as well as other I-CREWS project personnel. This individual will alsowork collaboratively to support workforce development goals in theI-CREWS project through the development of instructional materials fordiverse audiences, such as students, other project team members, and thepublic.
rrMinimum Qualifications:

PhD in geography, environmental science, mathematics or statistics,computer science, engineering, or a related field with a focus onquantitative spatial data science at the time of hiring{=html}<>- Experience using ArcGIS Pro or QGIS- Experience in spatial modeling, remote sensing, or spatial statistics
