　　Job Description

　　We are seeking a highly motivated candidate interested in developing and applying novel statistical methods in thequickly emerging area of data integration for a position as a postdoctoral fellow. The candidate will be involved invarious collaborations with a multidisciplinary research team to develop innovative statistical methods to addressvarious challenges of integrating data from different observational epidemiologic studies and population-basedsurveys with only partial information, for mediation analysis. This position will provide exciting opportunities towork on statistical techniques for non- and semi-parametric statistical models with moderate/high-dimensionalmediators while dealing with the practical complexities of large, complex studies with multiple data sources usedby modern scientists. The postdoctoral fellow will be co-mentored by Drs. Andriy Derkach and Chaya Moskowitzand for a period of two years, with the possibility of extension for a third year.

　　The ideal candidate should have:

　　• PhD degree in biostatistics, statistics, bioinformatics, or a related field• Experience in methodology in the areas of missing data, public health studies under various sampling designs andhigh-dimensional data is desired but not required• Solid methodological training in statistics, be comfortable working with large data sets, proficient in at least oneof the statistical programming languages R/Matlab/Python and have experience working on Unix/Linux systemsand basic shell scripting
