Position Summary/Description:
The Markmann Lab at UNC -Chapel Hill is seeking a postdoc, who will enthusiastically work on protein structural and flaviviral cloning studies in order to understand cross-neutralizing serum antibody responses to flaviviral infections, such as dengue and Zika viruses. We are a BSL2 lab, using x-ray crystallography, cryo-EM, human memory B cell cloning, viral neutralization assays and other epitope mapping studies in order to understand this, with the ultimate goal of informing cross-protective vaccine design.
Education and Experience:
Successful candidates should have at least one first author paper published in a peer-reviewed journal.
