　　RWJ Somerset is looking fora Lead Histology Tech

　　RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　The primary purpose of this job is to expertly perform routine and special histologic procedures. Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc.

　　Qualifications

　　High School Diploma or GED

　　Preferred: two years college course work

　　Preferred training with NAACLS approved lab on-line training program or ASCP recognized program for histology

　　Three or more years of job related experience

　　Preferred: five or more years experience in a histology laboratory

　　ASCP, HT/HTL

　　Preferred: HT or HTL, Quality Immunohistochemistry (QIHC)

　　Able to communicate effectively in English
