This iconic Resort is situated between the renowned Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest in Tropical North Queensland. The resort comprises 295 guest rooms, suites and villas.

Department

The position of Porter works within the Concierge team and reports directly to the Chief Concierge:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

•Greet and welcome guests to the Resort in a friendly courteous manner and ensure their requests are handled in a professional and efficient manner

•Control and ensure the driveway is clear of vehicles, and is kept clean and tidy.

•Provide assistance with baggage.

•Provide assistance with valet services and the efficient and safe manoeuvring of guest vehicles

•Working with other areas of the resort to assist with guest requirements

Preferred applicants will require valid working rights to work in Australia. Sponsorship will not be available for this position

To be successful in this position you will need to possess the following minimum requirements:

•High school certificate or equivalent qualification

•Good presentation, communication skills and a fluency in English.

•A high level of physical fitness is required for this role

•Previous experience in a similar role (Preferable)

•Ability to work well under pressure

•Ability to work Full Time on a 7 day rotating roster
