Description of Duties:

· Verify the pipe is the correct one to be fitted with an inner protective membrane

· Prepare the galvanized pipe that is to be used by drilling holes in flange area, grinding it and spraying the area with a galvanizing paint

· Confirm what variety of poly (polyethylene) needs to be employed

· Pull a poly sleeve through galvanized pipe with an electric winch running it in either manual and auto mode

· Cut any excess poly to length

· Operate any or all of the following pieces of production equipment: cranes, forklifts, cutting torch, grinders, winches, reciprocal saws and drills

· Help preform changeover when lead indicates it is needed

· Drill coupler holes in the pipe and insert couplers in the poly pipe using metal banding

· Tighten the couplers

Basic Qualifications:

· A working knowledge of using e-mail

· A High School Diploma / GED

· The ability to stand and walk during most of the shift

· The ability to grasp equipment such as air drills, air-torque winches, saws or banding tools

· The ability to administer pinch force necessary for installation of couplers

· The ability to reach above one’s own shoulders

· The ability to safely lift up to 39 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift

· The ability to bend and pivot repeatedly throughout the shift

· The ability to work over ten hours a week in overtime when required for business needs

Additional Qualifications:

· Attention to detail and accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines

· Continuous attention to processes, equipment operation, and safety is required

· Passion and integrity who has the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results

Preferred Qualifications:

· Previous work experience reading and interpreting blueprints or process sheets in a professional environment

· Mechanical knowledge and the ability to understand machining processes and perform tool changes and minor maintenance operation
