Wecurrently have a fantastic opportunity for an Applications / ClinicalSpecialist to join our Point of Care team based in Victoria . We are launching a revolutionary new system that can leadto significant changes in the patient management pathway, improving outcomesfor the patient while also offering workflow advantages to the healthcareprovider and health system.
Integralto this role is maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction by providingproduct line applications expertise to assist in the instrument installation, clinicalcustomer training processes and ongoing applications / clinical support. Inaddition, you will provide sales support by identifying and developing salesopportunities and assisting with product demonstrations.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
· Drive clinical use of the new system and all existingPOC products, ensuring all stakeholders are confident and competent
· Work collaboratively with Point of Care andEngineering teams to achieve installations to agreed timelines and qualityincluding performing relevant configuration, system optimisation, assayvalidation and instrument software updates/upgrades.
· Provide technical and clinical information to thecustomer to provide better customer and patient outcomes in conjunction withthe Marketing team and Product Specialist.
· Prepare, set up and deliver clinical training as percustomer requirements.
Your qualifications, experience and attributes:
· You will have a clinical background with registered nursingqualifications (ED, ICU, Cardiology or Cardiac Thoracic experience preferred)and/or tertiary qualifications in Science, Applied Science or related field. Ideallyyou will have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in your field.
· Demonstrated strong customer focus and excellentinterpersonal and problem-solving skills. Being a solid teamcontributor and exhibiting strong results orientation will see you succeed inthis role.
· Ability and willingness to travel when required. Therole is predominantly based in Victoria and may involve travel to assist other teamswithin Australia/New Zealand. You must be able to provide evidence of youreligibility to work in Australia and New Zealand and hold a current DriversLicence.
