Essential Duties
Participate in job planning for work packages, site set-up and constructionschedules.Establish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedules utilizingknowledge of equipment capacities and assigned personnel.Schedule and coordinates activities of assigned Independent Contractors(IC) while communicating and coordinating schedules with other trades.Ensures that IC material is delivered in complete packages and at assignedstation. Maintains and tracks material to reduce work stoppage and ensureproductive ICs.Operate and supervises operation of equipment and machinery such asbackhoes, forklifts, man lifts, power tools and tampers. Ensures allcertifications for equipment operation are current.Inspects work in progress and completed work to ensure conformance tospecifications. Instructs ICs and ensures compliance of testing procedures.Coordinate placement and storage of materials, tools and supplies to supportthe construction plan.Eliminates construction and job site hazards as they are recognized to reducesafety incidents and their severity.As required, works with tools to meet construction schedules or other demands.Performs other duties as required
Minimum Requirements
Five (5) years+ in mechanical contracting working as a constructionforeman or similar function.Residential and apartment (Multifamily) experience with some lightcommercial preferred.Journeyman License required.Stable work history.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, specifications,details ; perform a variety of duties which may often change; repeat tasksof short duration according to a set procedure and work within precise limitsand standards of numerical accuracy.Ability to effectively plan, organize, delegate and control the work process.Strong interpersonal and people skills.Good written and oral communications skillsA Salary Range for this role is $27.64 - 36.85 per hour.
