Job Purpose:Maintains the flow of water, air, and other gases, and drainage by assembling, installing, and repairing pipes, fittings, and plumbing fixtures.Duties:* Collaborate with construction teams to ensure plumbing requirements are met* Read and interpret blueprints to plan plumbing installations* Accommodates pipes and pipe fittings by cutting openings in floors and walls, using hand tools and power tools* Perform heavy lifting when required* Conduct basic math calculations for measurements and materials* Installs plumbing systems by assembling, positioning, and sealing valves, pipe fittings, and pipesSkills/Qualifications:Experience in HVAC and construction plumbing, proficient use of power tools, ability to assemble and weld pipes, ability to read and understand blueprints, perform heavy lifting as needed, mathematical skills for basic calculations. Commercial driving experience is a plus, but not required.
