As a Project Engineer in the Performance Materials and Technology industry, you will be responsible for executing engineering projects and assisting the installed based related to the development and optimization of advanced materials and technologies. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the successful delivery of projects by applying your technical expertise and project skills. The role will involve working on challenging projects that have a significant impact on the organization's growth and advancement in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
•Project design assistance on highly customized Safety Instrumented systems (SIS)
•Parter with engineers to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
•Assist project implementation and site activities.
•Learn about the Process Safety industry-related codes and standards.
•Application engineering ensuring requirements are implemented.
•Develop customer relationships – Internal & External
•On-site assistance with commissioning & troubleshooting
•Up to 60% travel to perform commissioning and on-site support. At times being on-site will include extended hours in order to meet project schedules.
•Create and Maintain project documentation,
•Regularly report project status, updates, and outcomes to project stakeholders and management.
YOU MUST HAVE
•Experience supporting field installation for PLC based equipment or PLC Training
•Must be willing to travel up to 60%
•Must be able to travel internationally
WE VALUE
•Associate’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
•Experience working PLC’s, tools and PLC based programming software.
•Knowledge in design and programming of Honeywell Safety system (FSC, Safety Manager)
•Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
•Effective communication and social skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
•Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and compliance.
•Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
