  Responsibilities

  Responsible for managing a large project through the entire life cycle, ensuring delivery to time, cost and quality. Provides project management expertise in order to plan, organize, control and deliver an enterprise-wide project. Likely to be working direct for project sponsor or for Program Manager with limited supervision. Responsible for the management of significant projects (e.g., strategic change management, new business and product initiatives, process re-engineering, establishment of control procedures) within this infrastructure area. Sometimes referred to as internal consultants, individuals work on multi-disciplinary projects and require a broad knowledge of the firm and its key functions. Within the program office, incumbents use knowledge of the development lifecycle to monitor and ensure completion of projects on schedule. These projects necessitate full-time commitment and are not undertaken by incumbents whose primary roles are elsewhere. Strong quantitative, analytical, and project management skills are also required. Incumbents may utilize agile software development methodologies.

  The Platform Product Owner will be responsible for managing the firms PC refresh project with a goal of refreshing approximately 7500 computer in 2024 and establishing a BAU process for the years following.

  · 20% Tactical/ 80% Transactional. Primary focus of role is on day-to-day operational execution, with occasional contribution to broader planning within area of expertise.

  · · Define the scope of the project, own and manage project goals, risks, issues and resources. Ensure benefits and triggers are agreed with benefit owners and can be realized while managing the impact of the organizational change to the business and customer.

  · Ensure effective team identification of and act as escalation point for project risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies within the portfolio, working with the team to devise and implement effective mitigation strategies.

  · May require negotiation with suppliers (both internal and external) to secure a timely and cost effective outcome for the project. Responsible for accurate and timely reporting against the project plan and budget in line with appropriate governance.

  · Ensuring the project deliverables are capable of achieving the benefits defined in the business case.

  · Determine internal / external resources required to deliver the project.

  · Work closely with the PC depot, ServiceNow Teams and EPS staff to ensure project is kept on track, escalate where needed

  · Use Swoogo for scheduling PC refreshes

  · Extensive liaison and direct contact with a diverse range of businesses and functions, both within and outside of Citizens. Create, foster and instill a climate of resources adding value in delivering projects by striving for excellence

  Required Qualifications

  · 6-8 years of project/program management experience

  · Requires conceptual and practical expertise in own area and general knowledge of related areas.

  · Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate the company in the market.

  · In-depth knowledge and proven application of Project Management methodologies and full project lifecycle including documentation standards, risk, issue, assumption and dependency management and change controls process.

  · Familiarity with process modeling, workshop facilitation and business analysis.

  · Knowledge of the current business operating model and supporting systems / applications including structures and key Citizens processes and procedures.

  · Knowledge of banking products and terminology.

  · Competent use of Microsoft Office applications to include Microsoft Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word.

  · Ability to create and foster a climate of adding value in delivering projects by striving for excellence.

  · Self thinker able to work through issues and escalate only when appropriate.

  · Identify the impact of project deliverables on the customer and ensure these fully support the customer proposition.

  · Proven track record of end to end delivery to time, cost and quality.

  · Flexibility to work on technology, change and business process projects.

  · Maximize the customer experience and minimize risk and cost of change. Proven track record of end-to-end delivery to time, cost and quality.

  Education and Certifications

  Required: Bachelor's degree

  Pay Transparency

  The salary range for this position is $133,040- $199,560 per year plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience. ​
