Job Summary
We are looking for a systems engineer to work with our campus endpoint management systems and virtual desktop offerings. This position focuses on application architecture and system design; server operating systems; and application installation, update, upgrade, and integration.
*What you'll do: *
As an engineer at this level, you will work independently to configure and maintain applications and systems as well as support technical solutions for a wide variety of university business needs. You will also have the opportunity to work with student employees and help them develop skills in this area as they gain valuable experience for their future careers.
To be successful, you will need to have significant experience with Windows and macOS.
Details of Essential Functions:
Production Support
Level 3 support for on-prem and cloud-hosted products Help integrate monitoring and reporting for systems Work with vendor support as needed Business Partner
Consult with campus departments on the technical capabilities of products and systems Help evaluate commercial packages Engineering

Professional (Level 54T): Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience required. Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience preferred. Supervision experience preferred. ($83,000 to $107,500 approximate starting salary range)

Senior Professional (Level 55T): Bachelor's degree and five years of related experience, or master's degree and 3 years, or an equivalent combination of relevant edu ation and experience is required. A minimum of 2 years of technical supervision experience is required. ($96,500 to $125,000 approximate starting salary range)
