Instill a customer-centric oriented organization by guiding all operationsactivities for the Broomfield, CO facility.1. Drive adoption of LEAN Manufacturing best practices with an on-goingpursuit of waste elimination, quality, and service level improvement.The role will be directly responsible for the management of daily activitiesfor the Senior Planner, Production Manager, Warehouse Manager, QualityAssurance Manager, Maintenance Manager and Mechanical Engineer and willreport directly to the Business Unit Vice President/General Manager.Responsibilities:* Candidate must have practical hands-on experience in Reaction InjectionMolding (high pressure mixing), Rigid and Integral skin foam and opencast (low pressure mixing).* Determines and establishes, through joint consideration and planning,both short and long-term manufacturing objectives consistent with existingsales, projected sales forecasts, inventory requirements, and other factors.* Drives adoption of LEAN best practices, leading the transformation of theplant in both culture and processes.* Develops and maintains effective organization through selection,training, compensation and motivation of all personnel.* Develops management talents necessary to obtain short and long-range goalsby effective direction, coaching and training as well as organizationalstructure and operating requirements.* Plans, prepares, and recommends and Annual Operating and Capital ExpenseBudget while establishing and implementing monitoring system of plantperformance to budget, with KPI's and visual boards.* Monitors and operating conditions and manufacturing schedules on a frequentbasis and through internal contacts in the Production, Sales, andMaterials Departments and suggests more desirable conditions of levels ofoperations to meet inventory or sales demands.* Directs maintenance and physical condition of the facility, either througha systematic program of repairs or through initiation of fixed capitalrequests when this action appears economic or appropriate.* Develops improved manufacturing methods, layouts, equipment, andtechniques and submits recommendations for approval. Conducts a continuouscost reduction program throughout the plant.* Directs the development of new project lines and participates in theimplementation of new manufacturing processes to meet the objectives of theplant.* Responsible for the activities that provide assurance that safety,health, and environmental rules and regulations are met or exceeded.* Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations issued by OSHA,EPA and federal, state and local regulatory agencies.* Manages special projects to achieve day-to-day and strategic corporateobjectives.* Must be able to interact with all functional areas of the organization andwith all levels of management.* Projects a positive image to peers and subordinates, to the customers thatwe serve, to the industry in which we participate, and to the community inwhich we live by producing a cost-efficient, quality product in a productiveenvironment.Requirements:* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Management with a strongbackground LEAN Manufacturing.* Minimum of 7 years' experience in direct management of all departments ofa manufacturing plant is required.
