Job Title: Plant Controller

　　Location: Omaha

　　Reporting to: Head of Accounting and Finance

　　Purpose and Scope/General Summary :

　　The JBS Regional Beef team is seeking a Controller for our Omaha plant.

　　This role will lead the accounting and purchasing teams at the plant. The controller is responsible for all financial controls at the plant, as well as contributing to the success of the plant and continuous improvement of procedures.

　　Responsibilities :

　　Lead the accounting and purchasing teams at the plant. Recommend and implement techniques to improve productivity, increase efficiencies and ensure effective controls.

　　Responsible for all accounting functions at the plant - these include cattle payables, invoicing, budgets, expense reporting, inventory reconciliation, weekly P&L reporting, variance analysis, capital spending and payback analysis, as well as other numerous daily, weekly, and monthly management reports.

　　Responsible for all purchasing functions at the plant – these include maintaining and controlling appropriate supply, MRO and packaging inventories, PO processing, driving cost savings initiatives, and all other purchasing responsibilities.

　　Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual financials and associated requirements accurately and timely

　　Ensure the plant is compliant in all Sox controls.

　　Provide financial expertise to the general manager and plant management team – provide insights into profitability.

　　Collaborate with cross functional departments to problem solve and establish procedures and action plans to achieve targeted results.

　　Qualifications :

　　Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field

　　5 years accounting experience or equivalent knowledge & ability

　　Computer skills and good people skills a must

　　Through knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

　　Prior Meat Cost Accounting or Plant Controller experience desired
