On a day-to-day basis, calculates, processes, posts, verifies, and maintains data for Valero Renewables.

　　Prepares accounting journals as required for monthly financial close.

　　Assists the Plant Controller to help ensure accurate recording of all plant accounting transactions and effectiveness of internal financial controls.

　　Coordinates with the Plant Controller and Plant Operations with preparation of annual budgeting, financial forecasts, monthly operations stewardship, capital budget tracking and reporting, analysis of variances to plan, in conjunction with financial and operations reporting schedule.

　　Completes monthly and quarterly compliance checklist and advises the Plant Controller of any non-compliance issues with recommended controls update.

　　Prepares and maintains monthly Plant KPIs (i.e. calculation of daily/weekly yields and inventory statistics).

　　Fields local management request for operating expense or capital expenditures.

　　Facilitates state and governmental audits and data gathering as needed, such as for state grain audits, state DOT reviews, FRA and TTB visits or audits
