Position Summary

Customer Service is the important first-line of contact with customers,

setting the tone for how members, doctors and plan sponsor groups view

our company. It provides members with the right information at the right

time to help them make better decisions about their health and health care.

Medicare Internal Urgent Support (MIUS) is a team of of individuals that assist with enrollment and eligibility inquiries for NextGen platform.

We are responsible for the MIUS phone queue, which is open from 8:00 A.M. EST to 8:00 P.M. EST, where we offer guidance and education to Customer Service and Broker Support for urgent inquiries.

We also take calls from brokers to check Medicaid eligibility for DSNP plans and them log them into a QuickBase for track and trend purposes.

Required Qualifications

-1+ years of Medicaid and Medicare experience

-1+ years of call center experience (Healthcare environment)

Preferred Qualifications

-Maintain 2 mailboxes for non-urgent inquiries like individual plans (PCP updates), NextGen broker updates and other enrollment inquiries, maintaining a 48-hour TAT.

-MIUS is often taking on Special Projects to assist other departments within the organization (i.e. PCP update project and CTM call review project)

-The MIUS team is skilled in the Enrollment team’s policies and procedures allowing us to assist them during Annual Enrollment with assisting with their mailbox, ASD workbaskets and processing (enrollments, missing information, cancellations to name a few).

Education

-High School Diploma

-College degree preferred.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$17.00 - $34.15

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
