Description
Robert Half is working with a highly respected firm in the valley.
This firm has four attorneys, three paralegals, and an office manager. The principal was at a prominent plaintiff’s firm and opened his own boutique practice in 2016. The firm handles cases in personal injury, insurance bad faith, and class action employment.
Responsibilities of Role:
This role will be doing heavy litigation. Eventually a caseload handling everything from intake, initial pleadings,
A more experienced attorney will get a caseload of about 20-30.
A junior attorney will get project work and ramp up towards taking a caseload A-Z, which will be handled under supervision until it continually grows. This process will take a few months.
Office/staff hours are 8-5, but the principal doesn’t micromanage attorneys’ time. Generally, attorneys are in the office 9-6, weekends only happen if necessary. People can do weekend work from home.

MCLE covered, firm sends people to networking events (sent attorneys to Vegas & SF this year!)
25+ year plaintiff attorney, he has a track record of teaching people how to be great attorneys.
Compensation:
Year-end discretionary bonus based on individual performance, marketing/career development, and overall firm performance
Benefits
Medical & out of pocket cost – medical, dental, vision (firm pays 100% for attorney) kicks in after 30
5 sick days after 90, a week vacation after 90 days, 2 weeks after a year, after 5 years it’s 3 weeks.
401k after one year with 3% match
Parking paid, bar dues.
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably plaintiff PI. Anywhere to 8 years or more.
Licensed in CA.
Good communication.
