Description:

　　Seeking a Pipeline Assessment Technician to perform QA/QC checks and inspection on pipeline/ sewer defects. This role is supporting a new proprietary AI technology that extracts data from sewer/pipelines to identify obstructions and defects. The Technician is responsible for ensuring the AI generated data is accurate and is identifying the correct NASSCO codes. This work will be performed almost entirely in-office. An opportunity for an experienced inspector to work on a new technology in this field.

　　Responsibilities:

　　-Assist a team of EITs and PEs with Pipeline Condition Assessment using the Artificial Intelligence Platform

　　-Perform QA/QC checks on the NASSCO codes generated by AI technology

　　-Recommend sewer maintenance and O&M based on the defects identified through AI technology

　　-Interact with owners and project managers as needed for progress updates

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　-High school diploma required

　　-3+ years of pipeline/sewer inspection experience required

　　-PACP – NASSCO certification or ability to obtain certification within 6 months

　　-Microsoft office proficiency required

　　-Excellent communication skills and detail oriented

　　Initially this person will be hired on as a Full-Time W-2 employee of Actalent where you would receive an hourly wage, holiday pay, pto, Benefits (Health, Dental, Vision insurance), and 401k. After being an employee of Actalent for 12-months, this person will transition to the Engineering firm as a direct employee or remain as a consultant.
