　　Schedule: F ull time. 40 hrs/week. Monday -Friday. Eight hour shifts. Ability to work until 6:00pm at least 2 nights a week.

　　Responsibilities

　　Conduct medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist.

　　Provide physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist.

　　Perform therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patient population.

　　Document treatment interventions given.

　　May coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students and other support personnel.

　　Requirements

　　Licensure / Certification / Registration:

　　BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

　　Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy Asst credentialed from the Michigan Board of Physical Therapy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

　　Education:

　　High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.Additional Preferences

　　1-2 years experience in Outpatient Physical Therapy preferred.

　　Must be able to work in multiple areas, ortho, neuro and aquatic therapy.
