It is who we are.JobDescription: Under the supervision of the physical therapist, thephysical therapist assistant (PTA) provides physical therapy servicesand elements of patient/client management leading to optimal outcomesaccording to the Wisconsin and/or Minnesota Physical Therapy Standard ofPractice. The PTA works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team inthe areas of education and consultation regarding patient care needs inaccordance with the vision and mission of Gundersen Health System. ThePTA may also coordinate and provide aquatic therapy services. MajorResponsibilities: 1. Under the supervision of the physical therapist,the PTA works with patients and families to ensure optimal outcomes.Also consults, educates, and engages in critical inquiry. 2.
