Ridgeview Le Sueur is building a rehab team that are experts in critical access care, orthopedics, and outpatient neurology. You will join more than 100 members of a larger Ridgeview Rehab team with excellence in practice and professional growth support. Purpose of Job This casual position is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of Physical Therapy clients accessing the Rehab Specialties department. When working at Ridgeview the Physical Therapist will provide access, intervention and discharge for all ages within the professional scope of practice as defined by the American Physical Therapy Association. Job Functions Performs evaluations, documents care, and discharges client cases according to RMC and professional standards. Provides current and quality treatment, utilizing Ridgeview and professional resources to promote continued quality care. Communicates with the patient, health care providers, insurer and others to ensure that patient needs are addressed. Exhibits working knowledge of hours of operation, customer base, department operations, visit procedures, and chart audit procedures. Understands and uses reimbursement and regulatory guidelines for care and environment. Provides effective supervision of PTAs, ATCs, aides, students and volunteers when physical therapy is provided. Provides professional and courteous customer service to internal and external customers. Performs other duties as assigned.
