Specimen labeling, ordering, accessioning, and processing.

Collects blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques.

Maintains equipment and medical supplies.

Specified waived testing if applicable.

Minimum EducationHigh School Diploma or Equivalent Required.

Minimum Work ExperiencePhlebotomist INew graduate/Less than 3 years of experience

Phlebotomist IIMinimum of 3 years of experience

Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Required SkillsPhlebotomy Certification PreferredBasic Life Support (BLS) Preferred
