Provide phlebotomy services to long term care clients (area nursing homes) as part of the Laboratory Outreach service.EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:High school graduate or equivalent. Phlebotomy training and experience preferred.The ability to communicate with others in a friendly and professional manner and be able to put them at ease.Demonstrate the ability to work calmly in stressful situations when many people are making requests.Responsible for work that must meet rigid medical standards in performing job duties.Able to adapt to routine work that involves repetitive operation carried out in accordance with standard procedures.Must be computer-literate to complete task(s) as required.
