Basic Function:
Provide crucial institutional statistics to academic and administrative units; design and conduct analytical institutional research projects. Reports to the director, Institutional Research or designated administrator.

Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:
Develop and provide institutional statistical information for reports, documents, and publications.
Build relationships with other units on campus to identify and understand decision support needs.
Work with campus partners throughout a project lifecycle from initial inquiry to sharing findings and results.
Complete reports and surveys for external agencies.
Monitor and keep current on emerging and current decision support trends, directions, and issues.
Serve on various departmental, divisional, and University committees.
Perform related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required and three years of experience with a primary focus on research, analysis or statistics.
License/Certification:

Knowledge Of:
Institutional effectiveness concepts, statistical principles, and database/data collection best practicesData applications within a higher education environmentPersonal computer applications (e.g. MS Office Suite including PowerBI, database, spreadsheet, word processing; ERP applications for institutional effectiveness - Banner preferred)

Preferred Qualifications -- if applicable:
Master's degree or higher in a relevant field and three years of experience in institutional research or effectiveness.
Proven experience in using SQL to query databases and PowerBI to author and update reports and dashboards.
Experience working in a multi-campus university environment.
