As a Pharmacy Technician (non-certified) you will perform activities involved in the preparation and dispensing of medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Technician completes pharmacy functions that do not require a licensed pharmacist which allows pharmacist more time for clinical activities. Work Schedule: 0.8 FTE Variable hours; primarily days with one evening per week (until 9PM) and every 4th weekend. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Minnesota Pharmacy Technician Registration (PTR) - required at hire/start date. Must follow State Board of Pharmacy guidelines/requirements for Pharmacy Technicians Outpatient/Retail Pharmacy Only: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association-required within 1 year of hire/start date. Must be at least 18 years old Preferred Qualifications: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association- suggested within 6 months of hire/start date.
