Description:

　　Technician will be assisting in the preparing and filling of medication orders and medication carts; Distributing medication to patients; performing nursing unit QA inspections

　　MUST HAVES:

　　-CHPT or eligible within 3 months of receiving offer

　　-High school diploma

　　-6 months previous experience in Pharmacy Technician position

　　Skills:

　　pharmacy, prescription refill, Electronic medical record

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　This person must be able to perform dosage calculations; have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of hospital personnel

　　Perform basic office environment tasks; have the aptitude to maintain proficiency in all Pharmacy computer systems, automated dispensing cabinet software and systems, and all technical equipment required to perform duties

　　Possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and the Internet.

　　Additionally, this person is expected to satisfactorily pass required hospital and government validation examinations.
