Provides distributive pharmacy services, assistance and support for the registered pharmacist.
Reports to: Director of Pharmacy
Essential Functions
Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems.
Fills medication carts daily.
Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department.
Repackages bulk medications.
Non-Essential Functions
Performs other duties as assignedAttends and participates in staff meetings, in-service, projects and committees as assignedAdheres to and supports policies and procedures of the STRHSWorks scheduled shifts including overtime, when necessaryAccepts all call schedule as directedMaintains a neat and professional appearance in compliance to the existing dress code.

Job Requirements
Minimum EducationHigh School diploma or equivalent required.
Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Licenses: Current registration with the State Board of Pharmacy and Certified Pharmacy Technician or will obtain within 60 days of hire.
