  Job Overview

  The Pharmacy 340B Coordinator role provides assistance to the 340B ProgramManager within the 340B program (federal program that requires drugmanufacturers to provide outpatient drugs to eligible health careorganizations/covered entities at reduced prices). The Pharmacy 340BCoordinator assists the Pharmacy 340B Program Manager and Directors ofPharmacy in all aspects of the 340B program on a regional location basis.This role requires a strong knowledge of the 340B program and its strictregulatory requirements, as well as continuing education on program changes.The position also requires the ability to execute special projects and assistwith other duties as directed to meet departmental needs.

  Additional Information

  Department: Contract Specialty PharmacyHours per week: 40, eligible for benefitsShift: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm. Work hours may vary depending on needs ofthe department.This is a hybrid position.*Although the position is considered hybrid, there are times when onsitework is required. This role will also require travel to the various pharmacylocations throughout the Denver Metro, to validate policies and procedureswith staff.

  Qualifications

  EDUCATION - Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare related field.EXPERIENCE - Two years of experience in a combination of the followingareas: compliance with government regulations, auditing, projectmanagement and or pharmacy operations.EQUIVALENCY - In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, one year of professionalexperience will serve as an equivalency to one year of education.Preferred Certifications: 340B Apexus Certified Expert (ACE)Strong computer and Excel skills.Effective communicator with the ability to adapt and problem solve.

  POPULATION SPECIFIC CARENo direct patient care.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSAn employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of thefollowing essential functions. These examples do not include all of thefunctions which the employee may be expected to perform.Serves as a pr ficient and knowledgeable team member for the 340B program'scurrent regulations, trends, and issues pertaining to the 340B program andalerts leaders to any identified gaps or risk points.Interfaces with governmental and 340B support agencies as necessary.Actively supports the 340B Program Manager, the Directors of Pharmacy, andExecutive leadership with data to support informed decision-making related tothe implementation and development of the 340B program and regular complianceaudits.Facilitates regional implementation of policies developed by the 340B ProgramManager and ensures that 340B policies are in accordance with current state,federal and system program requirements.Provides regular education to team members on policies and procedures relatedto 340B compliance.Develops knowledge and maintains awareness of current regulations, trends,and issues pertaining to the 340B program.
