Position SummaryReporting to the Program Director, Supervisor of Pharmacy Operations theStaff Pharmacist will provide clinical care to patients of theComprehensive Center for Bleeding Disorders and oversee day-to-dayoperations of Versiti\'s clotting factor distribution ResponsibilitiesPharmacy Operations * Oversees daily operations, providing guidance toPharmacy Technicians, maintaining compliance with licensing andregulatory requirements, and updating policy and procedures, * Providesenhanced customer service to hospital customers seeking guidance onclotting factor dosing, storage and handling, reconstitution andadministration, etc. * Efficiently manages inventory while meetingcustomer requirements * Monitors all transactions to ensure properprices are applied and correct inventories are used * Coordinatesmonth-end physical inventory counts and resolves discrepancies * Servesas primary system subject matter expert in the use of pharmacyoperations system, overseeing the processing of orders, returns andtransfers, and troubleshooting problems as necessary * Assumes the roleof the Pharmacist in Charge during temporary or longer-term absencesClinical Services * Serves as a member of the comprehensive care team,to include attending coagulation and thrombosis clinics, providingdirect patient counseling, attending staffing meetings and providingclinical input to physicians, assisting in the development of surgicalrecommendation letters and providing review and oversight of properdosing and administration of factor for...
