　　The Pharmacist fulfills daily operational responsibilities which assure the safe and effective use of medications in our patients,

　　The pharmacist adheres to contemporary standards of practice in fulfilling these responsibilities,

　　Education,

　　Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE accredited school required,

　　Current NJ Pharmacy License required,

　　NJ Board Registration required,

　　Experience,

　　Minimum of one year accredited pharmacy residency strongly preferred,

　　Previous hospital experience strongly preferred,

　　Reviews physician orders for Appropriateness of drug, dose, frequency, and route of administration

　　Therapeutic duplication

　　Age appropriateness

　　Allergies or sensitivities

　　Current or potential impact as evidenced by laboratory values

　　Food drug and Drug-drug interactions

　　Compares new orders with current patient specific information and resolves all drug related problems, in conference with prescribing physician when

　　necessary,

　　Provides pharmacy documentation of interventions,

　　The pharmacist supervises assigned technical staff by Prioritizing tasks and overseeing preparation and checking all medications prior to dispensing for accuracy and completeness,

　　Delegating other appropriate tasks and checking for accuracy,

　　Communicates frequently with the technician and uses effective supervisory skills,
