Description:
The purpose of this position is to provide professional support and ongoing management assistance of multiple grant projects.
Assists in administering program grants.
Obtains required information internally and externally to draft documents for grant applications and grant-related reports.
Utilizes system software to apply for and track grants and other reporting requirements.
Ensures compliance with Federal, State and Local requirements regarding allowable expenses and other regulatory requirements depending on grant source.
Coordinates and works with organizations to ensure that grant projects and their funding are appropriately identified in the improvement programs.
Ensures that appropriate documentation and accurate records exist to support grant management.
Provides justification and summaries on the use of grant funds as required; assists with milestone and financial reports for each grant as required.
Monitors grant expenditures, ensuring that all policies are followed.
Assist in developing quarterly grant reports and other reports as needed.
Maintains files and records and ensure compliance with local, state and federal recordkeeping requirements.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Grant Management, Finance, Project Management or a related field, with at least three (3) years of progressively responsible related experience; OR an Associate's degree in a related field, with at least (5) years of progressively responsible related experience; OR a High School Diploma or equivalent with at least (8) eight years of progressively responsible related experience.
Must be proficient in the use of a personal computer and Microsoft Office products, including SharePoint.
Demonstrated effective management skills, effective and clear dialogue, proficient writing skills, good reasoning, information processing, and evaluation skills.
Must possess good oral and written skills and a proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization. Is able to think creatively to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Must be a self-starter, be self-motivated with a can-do attitude and able to work independently as required as well as be a team player.
Should be able to quickly absorb and process grant and financial information.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times without exception.
Is goal driven and understands the need for analyzing recruiting needs and tracking progress against goals.
Possesses excellent organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Must demonstrate willingness and ability to provide world class customer service to both internal and external customers with a service-oriented attitude. Should be able to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
