About Pfizer Oncology Bothell Site Affairs Lead

  ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  The Bothell Site Affairs Lead is responsible for supporting the integration efforts between Pfizer and Seagen at the Bothell site. Responsible for a wide array of business operations-based activities as well as colleague engagement activities. Responsible for leading and executing communications programs designed to enhance the image of Bothell site and support integration activities, using a variety of digital and other channels. Collaborates with the Oncology Clinical Development and Operations (CD&O) leadership team, Bothell site PX and senior site leaders based on the Bothell site to lead, develop and/or implement strategies for a range of internal and external communication activities, including corporate, community and change management communications, and branding initiatives. Responsible for managing and implementing communications plans and materials that deepen colleague engagement/trust, and other site actions that accelerate site business performance and enhance Bothell's site reputation externally

  Site Operations:

  Support Business Planning Leads to develop the annual budget allocation for each group.Serve as a key stakeholder and become a resource on all things Site Affairs, including advising on technical resources and imparting Site knowledge and relevant content for presentation to key stakeholders.Maintain distribution lists and the Site Affairs SharePoint site, including surveys and registrations for events.Work with relevant departmental heads and PX to ensure a positive onboarding experience for new hires based on the Bothell site.Support non-Bothell based Pfizer Oncology senior leaders with Bothell-based events, ensuring appropriate meeting space, catering, AV, etc.

  Internal Communications:

  Develop long-term strategic plan and day-to-day management of a communications program across multiple channels for Bothell site.Manage editorial calendar ensuring balance across themes and in alignment with site goals, messaging, and news. Manage and grow Bothell site internal social media channels.POC to liaise with corporate, digital, and media communications to identify opportunities to highlight Bothell at corporate level and support developing a broader interface with. Develop and define metrics assessing reader interest in newsletters, emails, Yammer posts etc. and look for ways to increase readership and engagement.Manage Bothell site SharePoint site and content strategy for ensuring it is fresh, engaging, resonates with on-site colleagues, approved through legal and others as required and published in a timely manner.Research, write, publish short/long-form articles, executive leadership emails, videos, infographics, PowerPoint presentations, etc. and ensure clarity, accuracy, consistency, simplicity of language and news impact.Develop and maintain relationships with Site Leaders to identify communication opportunities and to ensure consistent messaging across Pfizer Oncology.Develop communication materials (e.g., slides, talking points) for Bothell-based Pfizer Oncology senior leader presentations. E.g., Town Halls, etc.Develop and maintain a compelling 'Bothell story', key messaging, and news flow for internal use.Partner with other members of the Site Affairs team to provide operational support for site events, activities and ad-hoc communications and reputation/branding requests.Regular review of other Pfizer site Yammer and SharePoint sites to look for synergies and ideas to bring to Bothell site.When applicable, lead Site Event workstreams ensuring communications, engagement, and on-site logistics.

  External Communications

  Partner with Pfizer Oncology Leaders, Scientific Affairs and Strategic Partnerships, PX, and Corporate Affairs to develop communications that support enhancing our Bothell site reputation and connection with local academic and scientific communities.Develop a compelling Pfizer Bothell site story, messaging, and news flow for external use.Establish a network and partner effectively with other Communication leads across Pfizer Oncology and other Pfizer sites to achieve business objectives and continually strive to improve communication with site colleagues.Identify integration points with digital and social media into external communications planning. Liaise with Pfizer Oncology Leaders, Scientific Affairs and Strategic Partnerships, PX and Corporate Affairs to identify opportunities to highlight Bothell achievements at Corporate level and support developing a broader interface with prospective colleagues, current colleagues and others through LinkedIn, and other social media formats.Responsible for maintaining e-signs, on-site branding, etc. with timely, interesting, and informative materials for both colleagues and visitors.

  BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  Minimum of Bachelors degree, Major in Communications or operations preferred. 9+ years of work experience in Communications and operations.Experience in the pharma, biotech sector or life sciences strongly desired

  Optional requirements:

  Excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills, creativity, and ability to consistently meet deadlines. Knowledgeable and experienced in digital and social media to extend reach and impact to audiences. Experience in R&D or supporting scientific communications. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dynamic environment while being flexible to manage competing priorities and shift focus as determined by changing needs. Highly collaborative style; Intelligence and poise to work with scientists, researchers, and executives. Ability to operate independently in ambiguous situations to deliver objectives.

  The annual base salary for this position ranges from $113,900.00 to $189,700.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. The United States salary range provided does not apply to Tampa, FL or any location outside of the United States.
