DescriptionThe Personal Banker is responsible for generating business and deepeningrelationships by promoting products and services to potential and existingcustomers. Responsibilities include providing high quality customer servicewhile achieving sales goals and supporting banking center staff as needed.Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:Greet customers and facilitate a welcoming and customer- focused environmentProvide extraordinary customer service while achieving goals and supportingthe banking center staff as neededBuild and maintain relationships with customers to help identify financialproducts and services that meet their needsPromote financial products and servicesOpen deposit accounts and take loan applications, process consumerloan/credit line requests for customersProcess customer transactions efficiently and accurately in a fast-pacedenvironment while maintaining a balanced cash drawer and adhering to internalcontrols and proceduresGenerate new business and expand relationships with current customers throughnetworking and Centers of InfluenceRespond to customer inquiries and concerns and create positive solutionsSupport other employees as neededRequired Skills:Minimum of one year successful sales experience in an incentive-driven orrelational selling environment; demonstrated performance in meeting andexceeding goalsMinimum of 6 months of cash handling experience in a retail sales environmentAbility to generate referrals including making on-site visits with localbusinessesAbility to work effectively as a team member and with customers.Strong work ethic and high integrityProficient with all Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel etc.)Friendly, outgoing, assertive, confident, and enthusiastic personalityMust have a current Notary or be willing to become one (pursueapplication, bond and notary seal) at the Bank's expenseSalary Range: $40,000.00 - $69,000.00. Compensation is aligned toexperience, skills and education. Hours of paid leave may vary based on position.This position is expected to close on March 1, 2024. If the position hasnot been filled by the expected date, the date may be extended and will beupdaPreferred Skills:Successful sales record in a retail banking environment; with knowledge ofbank services and products.Bilingual (fluent verbal and written Spanish) skillsPhysical Requirements:This position requires long periods of standing or sitting as well as typingand repetitive motion. Candidates must possess the ability to lift and carrycash drawers, coin bags, and boxes sometimes weighing as much as 25 pounds.
